St Laurence’s Larder and Soup Kitchen

St Laurence’s Larder and Soup Kitchen

Our parishes support the St Laurence’s Larder through weekly donations of dried food and toiletries that Church members supply. Many of us simply add a couple of extra items to our regular weekly shop and bring them to Church on Sunday and place them in the baskets in Church and we take the collected items to the Soup Kitchen on a regular basis.

If you would like to support homeless people in need then please do simply bring your donation with you to Church – St James Church is open every day from 8.00-6.00pm and there is a basket at the Nave Altar for your donations. St Mary’s is open on Saturday mornings from 10.15- 1.00pm. Donations can also simply be left each Sunday morning.

We also have a collection point in the Sainsbury’s on Kilburn High Road, where you can leave what you buy and we collect once a week

We are also supporting the Soup Kitchen by cooking every Monday evening.  We have a simple google doc for people to sign up to help. It takes about an hour, is great fun and really makes a big difference.  If you would like to help with that please get in contact.

Thank you – there are people who can eat every day because of the kindness of many.
