St Mary’s CE School
St Mary’s School was founded by the local Church in 1872 to provide and education to local families within the Christian tradition of the Church of England.
We remain closely associated with the school, our Vicar is Chair of Governors and other members of the Church serve on the Board and as members of staff. Many of our church families attend the school and the children worship in the Church regularly every term.
If you would like to know more about the school then please see their website here.
St Mary’s School is a good school with an excellent local reputation and places are in heavy demand. Selection is made on the basis of the published Criteria which give preference to the children of practicing Christian families who can demonstrate regular attendance in their local Church community. Coming along to either St Mary’s or St James Church is accepted as qualifying for a place at the school.
If you would like to know more about places and admission please speak to contact us so that we can send you details of the qualifying criteria.
